It goes without saying that having a staycation is all the rage right now due to the current travel restrictions. However, picking the right hotel can be such a hassle when there’s just so much to pick from! We recommend checking out (or in this case- checking in) kid-friendly hotels. Our favourite one is Shangri-La Hotel. They’re filled with indoor activities for kids especially with their Buds Indoor Playground, which offers an interactive play space for your little ones at just 18SGD for 60 minutes! 2. Try out mini golf at Holey Moley

When it comes to looking for fun things to do with kids, you can’t go wrong with mini golf! Holey Moley is one of the best mini golf places in Singapore. It is perfect for family as the colourful neon lights are sure to draw in the kids, while the themes and references are a fun nod to childhood nostalgia to keep the parents entertained! The ground floor features mini golf courses centred around various themes ranging from the Wizard of Oz to the Flintstones. We feel this is a great place to bond with your kids on the popular media from back in the day. On the second floor, we have themes like The Simpsons and Game of Thrones (rest assured, it’s all PG). However, do take note that minors under 18 must be supervised by an adult and won’t be allowed in after 8pm. Holey Moley would make a great daytime indoor activity for kids before heading off for dinner!

It’s near the ocean, making it perfect for those looking for a cooling ocean breeze and some kite-flying. Not to mention, the scenery of the cityscape is simply breathtaking, and better yet- it’s free!
5. Have fun at Universal Studio Singapore

We had to squeeze in this classic! When it comes to fun things to do with kids, theme parks rank the top of the list. Visit Universal Studio Singapore with the kids for a memorable day out. Witness your child’s reaction when they meet their favourite characters like Shrek or the Penguins of Madagascar! We recommend keeping your camera at hand at all times to capture each adorable moment. Aside from that, USS is filled with kid-friendly rides, musical shows and fun memorabilia.
